Our Purpose
Radford College is a generous-spirited learning community that embodies the beliefs and values of the Christian faith in the Anglican tradition.
We develop young people to live truthfully, practise compassion and seek wisdom in order to serve the common good.
Our Vocation
It is our vocation to graduate students who find themselves through friendship and service with others,
who love the world enough to act beyond self-interest, young people who are:
awake to God’s presence and purposes;
confident in learning, skilled in clear thinking and intellectual rigour;
humble in their gifts, generous in spirit and compassionate in action;
courageous for justice, seekers of the common good;
respectful and trustworthy – always and everywhere;
creative and bold to imagine new possibilities, at peace with themselves;
authors of lives that transcend the material, rich in meaning and filled with hope.
The Plan articulates five aims:
- Growing with integrity and authenticity
- Contributing to a community of wellbeing
- Serving the common good
- Learning and teaching with purpose
- Strengthening contemporary and sustainable operations.
