Radford Reaches In

Radford Reaches In is a community-based initiative formed by our three community groups: Radford Foundation, Collegians and Parents & Friends Association. The aim of the initiative is to provide support to individuals or families within the Radford College community that are doing it tough.

The Radford Reaches In logo. Why wattle?

Wattle is a symbol of unity across the three community groups.

On National Wattle Day 2020, Governor-General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) said: "[Wattle] is the national symbol of unity and resilience, and don't we need that at the moment. We are going through a difficult period at the moment and unity and resilience – it's like a sum, it's going bigger than the two elements and it gives us national strength."

Requesting assistance

Radford families and staff can make direct requests for assistance. Community members that are aware of a family or an individual needing assistance, can make a request on their behalf.

Please submit your request to radfordreachesin@radford.act.edu.au. The request will be considered by a committee made up of representatives from each of the community groups and the Principal.

Applicants will be informed of the decision by the Radford Foundation Administrator.
